Why Ms. & Mrs.?
Because we are a mother-daughter company, founded by two sisters
(the Ms.) and their mom (the Mrs.).

Mrs. Georgette Kaplan, the Survivor-in-Chief, is a lifelong entrepreneur who most recently owned a successful gourmet food company. Ms. Stephanie Kaplan is pursuing a Ph.D. in political science, while Ms. Jamie Kaplan practices corporate strategy in the airline industry. Separately, they pursue different passions, but together they are the survival gurus behind Ms. & Mrs.
When Jamie landed her first job after college, her sister, Stephanie, gave her a cosmetic case filled with all of the beauty, fashion, and personal care products that women toss haphazardly in their purses and desk drawers. The gift was a hit, and, in 2004, the Working Girl's Survival Kit was born. Since then, the Kaplan women have invented fun and functional collections for almost every modern emergency, turning Ms. & Mrs. into the leading purveyor of beauty, personal care, and fashion emergency kits.
